About the event
Our lead Barista James is a Q Grade sensory expert and would love to help you better understand the complexity of coffee and how you can make the perfect cup. This class will be at Milk & Honey and should take roughly 1 and a half to 2 hours depending on the number of individuals in the class. You will work side by side with James about Barista 101 which will include sourcing, production, roasting, storage, label information and much more. Next, the floor will be open to home barista questions such as proper dosing, grinding, temperature, texture, troubleshooting and anything else you may be curious about. Finally the class will conclude with a sensory experience called "cupping" which is common practice in the coffee industry. This will help to learn about various notes of flavor and the complexities of different kinds of coffee beans from around the world. We hope to see you soon!
The class will be $35, tickets can be purchased in advanced at the shop or at the start of the event (RSVP is required).
Coffee will be included, don't forget to tip your Baristas :)
10% off Coffee Beans for the class.
There are no refunds but we would be happy to reschedule for the next event.
